May 2015

Dear Friends,

I have been traveling and writing a lot since The Stolen Chalice came out. The path of my travels is apparent in the new release SUMMER OF FIRE – available May 19. This book is set in the stunning island of Capri, off the coast of Naples Italy. I was particularly enthralled with the history of volcanoes in the region, and the deep roots to early Roman history. In this photo I am climbing Mount Vesuvius, the volcano that destroyed the Roman cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum.

SUMMER OF FIRE remains true to the exploration theme of the Sinclair/Cordelia series. I decided to spin a thrilling plot line that examines the current state of volcanic activity in the world. Throw in a couple of bad guys from Naples, and a feckless Princess from Norway and we have a very hot summer indeed for my characters John and Cordelia.

I invite you to join me this summer for a very exciting journey though some of the most exotic and romantic locations in the world.

Happy Reading,

Kitty
